And so it begins...

Hello all! 

So, my first blog post, I feel under pressure...

I will keep this fairly brief as I only have a couple of hours before my train to London leaves, but the current feeling is - so far, so good! I am all packed up now and feel as prepared as I'll ever be to venture off to the other side of the world on my own. Will has gone to Asda to get the essentials for my last supper (waffles, beans, eggs and veggie sausages - my choice) and both my bags are sat by the door ready to go. I'll admit I am nervous, but mainly excited. I'm really looking forward to getting out there and throwing myself into PNG life - whatever that turns out to be! I'll try to keep the blog updated whenever possible to keep worried minds at rest and to save sending multiple emails.

I suppose all that's left to say is goodbye, and wish me luck!
